Got to watch a very entertaining game between the Fox Warriors and the Lutheran South team today.  Fox won the game 4-2 in 7 innings. The weather held out long enough to get the game in. Fox relief pitcher Kayla Meier came in and shut down LS team to pick up the win. Holly Roth had a good game in the field and at the plate, helping secure the win.

OK folks, the time is here. I’m back to working on the High school scene. The players are done with camps this summer, school is back in session, and the games are starting. So you ask where will I be?

August 28th, 2008 I will be at the Fox vs. Lutheran south softball game.

 August 29th, 2008  I will again be shooting team photos for the newspaper. This week I’ll be at Grandview and then team photos are done. I’ll run home and grab some gear and head out to a football game of my choice. Opening night of the football season is here. No assignment tonight as I have drawn the biggest game of the week and its a Saturday day game.

 August 30th, 2008   Are you ready for some football? Thats right week one of the HS varsity season is underway. I’ll be at MICDS vs.  Festus two very good programs both ranked in the statewide standings. I am really looking forward to seeing a good game.

Sept. 2nd 2008 I’ll be at Jefferson College to cover the Lady Vikings taking on the Mineral Area Cardinals. Should be a really good match with several local talented ladies on both teams. This will be the first match for the New Vikings Coach.

 Sept. 5th, 2008 I’ll be in my own backyard. Literally De Soto vs. Perryville in HS football, at J.C. Culwell Stadium. Should be a game the my Alma Mater can win.

Got to cover my first HS football game of the year. Two state ranked teams met on a rare saturday day game for me. Festus was defeated by a much better and perrenial powerhouse MICDS.
