This week I was asked to cover two games in the same night. Meaning the first game got what I could get in a limited amount of time, then headed off to the other game some miles away and shot the rest of the night. First game was Festus @ Hillsboro, good game while I was there, later I understand it became very one sided as Festus showed why its going to be a contender this year. Next I went to Grandview, who was hoping to break a 26 game losing streak. Unfortunately there were some things that didnt go there way, and while the officials couldnt seem to get anything right they eventually made a difference in the game, which is a shame as that should never happen. They lost 26-16.

I was asked to help cover an annual event this year, the 14th annual Twin City days. Was a wonderful day for the events. And I had such a great time doing it. Between cute babies, puppies, and some sports to top it off, what could be better.

OK so back to shooting at night. Covered a game for the paper at a school that has very poor lighting. That kind of situation really puts your equipment at its limits. Herculaneum finished off their second week with another win. Coach Helm’s team looks like they might have a good year.

Got a chance to head out to the local Junior College and shoot a good match Between Jefferson College and Mineral Area College.

Got an oppurtunity to cover the St. Rose Labor day weekend festival this year. Had a great time and saw some cool things.
