Had an assignment that put me at the end of two seasons. The Fox Warriors and Seckman Jaguars both lost in the semi-finals of district play to end their season. Seckman was very competitive with a very tough Cor Jesu team.

Was able to cover a game that made history. Fox High school clinched their first ever playoff birth with a win over Northwest. Micah Marino had a great game.

Covered an R-7 vs. Festus Middle school volleyball match. To be honest out of all the volleyball I have seen up to this point. This was by far the best series of games both 7th and 8th grade that I have seen.

Covered a JV cross country meet today. Was different covering the younger kids for a change.

Saw one of the best attended rivalry’s in all of HS football in the area. However once the whistle blew it was pretty much over as Fox steamrolled Seckman to make quick work of it all.

Saw a great soccer match(my first of the year) St. Pius beat De Soto with a last minute goal to win 5-4.

Watched the lady Vikings take care of business at home today. They are having a great year.

Took in a Varsity Volleyball game tonight. Crystal City took care of Windsor pretty easily. But the gym really hampers good photography.  I sure wish I could strobe that gym. Would make a world of difference in the photos from that place.

Was sent to cover the Seckman at Windsor football game. Sort of a sloppy offensive game with alot of turn overs on both sides. Windsor was able to hold on 33-28.

The 26th of September saw me visit the Herculaneum football field. However I was covering the Crystal City Hornets vs. Valle Catholic, as the Crystal field is still being repaired after being under water after only being able to play one night. Was a rough night for the Hornets who were shutout by Valle 42-0.
