Tonight Festus hosted the Windsor Owls with a wild second half, Windsor came back to make it a close game, but Festus was just a bit too far ahead.

On Thursday night I attended a Middle school game between the Crystal City Hornets and the Jefferson Middle School. Tonight should have been a good game that helped decide who would win the conference. Instead it was a route by a very good Fox team over a Festus team that was missing it’s quarterback. Not going to write allot because honestly beyond Touchdown Fox, Touchdown Fox there isn’t a whole lot to write about. Jordan Clerkely had a fantastic night carrying the ball tonight and scored several times.

Volleyball in Jefferson County has gotten very interesting. There are a few very good teams, and other teams that just show up. Tonight I was covering the De Soto vs. St. Pius game. This is two of those very good teams. De Soto undefeated this year, and St. Pius who has lost three games(all to De Soto) squared off for a showdown that would likely decide the JCC championship. De Soto came out well ahead in both games and essentially wrapped up that honor.
